TRAVEL DIARY: Yala, Sri Lanka

Outfit: Dress - Custom (similar linked in previous post!)

I am back! I know, it's been a minute but a lot has been happening; one of those things being our staycation to Yala for Sinhala & Tamil New Year.

For those of you who don't know what or where Yala is, it is a National Park in the South East of Sri Lanka and it's simply breathtaking. It's actually the first time I've been there, ever. I can't even believe I'm saying that myself and the experience did not disappoint.

We stayed at Leopard Trails Yala, which is essentially glamping, for two nights. We took two safari trips, an evening and a sunrise, and it was just incredible. It was just so amazing to see the animals in the open like that and also just appreciate the beauty of nature. I know it sounds cliché, but Sri Lanka never fails to astonish me. It's such a beautiful country and I know I'm technically biased in saying that, but it's true. I won't ramble on any longer, I just wanted to share a few images we captured during the trip.

And yes, I know I'm wearing the same outfit I wore in my last post in this one, but hey I love it so... oh well.

If you want to know anything more about our Yala trip, you can watch my vlog below or just drop me a comment below!

Sending you lots of love and hope you're staying safe and well,

Emily xx
