Happy 1st Birthday, Seventeen James!

Jumper - Mexx
Skirt - Boohoo
Earrings - Odel

Photography by Natasha Walton.

I've had this blog for a year! How the time has flown. I'm going to take the time to reflect on a few things, so bare with me. I know I'm not a model, I've got my own style and I'm not that great at keeping up this blog, but what I have realised is my love for fashion and how this blog has helped me escape. It gives me something to do in my free time, rather than just waste it on other things. It's kept me productive and opened me up to a whole new realm. I'm so happy that I started this blog, and I hope to continue it and make it better. I want to improve on it as much as possible and I think I'm starting to do that, especially with my new photographer (Hi Tasha, thanks, I love you!). I've got a few more posts coming up soon, so make sure to stay posted.

This outfit is just taking a few new pieces I bought over the summer and making them work in this Autumn weather,  which isn't as intense as I thought it would be right now. The Mexx jumper has been a staple in my wardrobe for nearly a year now. I can wear it with anything, at any time. These Boohoo bodycon skirts are a God-sent. I have three of them, but I want to buy them all. They are a great price, comfortable and can be worn in any which way you want, day-to-day or even a night out. Drop earrings have become my new favourite, I have too many of them now and also the other double pearl earrings. I actually picked up this pair in Sri Lanka and I love them. I've seen similar ones in Accessorise and a few other stores, so make sure you get some. The shoes are my favourite. I am obsessed with Charles & Keith and it absolutely sucks that they don't have stores here in the UK, but there is an online store. Go and buy the whole store because everything is amazing in there. These slip-on mules are to die for and are actually comfortable, I made a great decision there.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the blog, it honestly means the world! Here's to another year of Seventeen James!

Lots of love,

Emily xx
