12 Days of Christmas: What To Wear This Christmas Day

                                                                                  VIA @LORNALUXE

Christmas is in less than a week and we're all getting ready to stuff our faces with food, open presents and spend time with the family. When it comes to Christmas day, I'm usually at home and spend it in PJs. But sometimes I make the odd outing instead and I know a lot of people go to a relative's house for the festive day. And that means - an outfit.

I personally, like always, have to consider comfort. It's no point wearing something if I'm not comfortable in it. Also factor in Christmas dinner - you will be eating, a lot. It's probably the one day of the year that we truly pig out, so we need all the comfort (and room) in our clothing, plus look cute.

I've put together a few of my favourite last minute picks for outfits perfect for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and or Boxing Day so that you look gorgeous, feel comfy and have enough room to eat to your heart's content.

I've obviously got a love for floaty dresses, especially Cecilie Bahnsen style pieces because they are gorgeous baby doll styles that I will wear to death. What's your favourite piece from this selection? What are you wearing for Christmas, what's your go-to? Let me know in the comments below.

12 Days of Christmas: The Best Last Minute Stocking Stuffers For The Girls

                                                                                                                                              VIA HOMEMIDI

'Twas the week before Christmas and all was a glow, but were all the gifts, oh good God, no!

We all leave Christmas gifts to the last minute right? I mean it's not just me. This last week is crucial shopping time - we've most likely got the big gifts covered, but we might just let something slip. The stockings. I cannot tell you how many times Mum & I have forgot presents for the stockings and then at the last minute scramble. Have you been there? Well, here's where I come in. I've helped narrow the best options down for you to give you easy options that you can buy, whether it be what I've linked or just the idea itself! Here's the best last minute stocking stuffers for the girls this Christmas.

Bath Bits
It's the time of year to relax and would us girls love things for the bath? Whether it's bath bombs, soap or shower gel, we're going to love finding in our stockings. And where's the best place to find them? Lush. I love going into Lush just to smell everything and there's something for everyone! Here's some of the Christmas theme bits that are perfect for your a girl's stocking!

Make Up
You can't go wrong with finding a lipstick or shimmering eyeshadows in your stocking - whoever you're giving it to probably wanted it or can never have too many so why not!

Perfume
Stockings are just big enough to stick a perfume in and I honestly think it's one of the best presents to put in there. Perfume is such a good present because it lasts long and we use it everyday. So buying your Mum, sister or friends a perfume for their stocking is easy! With so many to choose from, here's my favourite picks:

Jewellery
The reason why I love jewellery as a stocking stuffer is because you can get really thoughtful with this one. If you've got Christmas Day plans or New Year's Eve parties to go to, you're going to need jewellery and if you haven't got it yet, you might find it in your stocking! My Mum has done this for me before in the past and it's so good. So maybe buy your loved one some jewellery to match the killer festive outfits they've got!

Candles
Who doesn't love a good candle? You can never have too many in your home. I would love to find one hidden in my stocking, especially if it's a staple one in my home that I've run out of!

So there you have it! Five simple ideas for stocking stuffers that I would be totally happy with on Christmas morning, as I think much of you ladies would be too! Make sure you hint them to your loved ones, and spoil your mum, sister, aunt or best friend with one (or more) of these!

12 Days of Christmas: The 5 Things On Every Fashion Girl's Christmas List

                                                                           VIA @AMINAMUADDI

Christmas is honestly the best time of year. Not just because I love it or because it's a time for family & love, or even because the world is just that little bit more magical. No, it's also the extra time (apart from our birthdays) when we get to write lists of potential gifts to ourselves. Remember when we were little and would write our never-ending lists to Santa? What a time. As we get older, we kind of hint everything we want to the people we love.

And to be honest, I think the fashion girls are the ones with the craziest lists because every five minutes we see something new we want. Whether it's the most sought after piece or something a little less known, we'll find something extra to add to our wishlist. However, it seems that every year there's a small collection of items that everyone is after.

Here are the 5 things on every fashion girl's Christmas list for 2019:

                                                                                                                VIA @ASHLEYNPIERCE
Gucci Tights

These are 100% on my list, after a great deal of thinking about whether they are worth it. Conclusion: worth it. We all love a good pair of tights, especially in the winter because they are both chic and warm for our legs. Whilst we can all go about wearing our normal M&S tights, but we could also be boujee as hell and go for Gucci instead.

                                                                                                                      VIA @LORNALUXE

The Pouch by Bottega Veneta

Okay, some people may be sick of it, some not and some desperately waiting to see if it'll appear under the Christmas tree. I don't think this bag is going anywhere anytime soon and if a girl's not got it yet, she's bound to want it. This year it became *the* iconic bag, so of course it had to be included. With all the new colours, new textures and sizes, you've got a bunch of options too. So now I probably want multiple, like the rest of the fashion girls.

                                                                                                              VIA @79HOUR
Chunky Chain Jewellery

I'm seeing this trend everywhere and I think girls really love it. We've all had our moments with dainty jewellery, now it's time for the chunky pieces to shine. They seem to be working their way into everyday stacking - whether it be on the neck or arm, it's a style that everyone from high street to designer is releasing. These pieces pictured above are created by influencer, @josefinehj, and are perfect for Christmas gifting!

                                                                                           VIA @WALKINWONDERLAND

Amina Muaddi Shoes

The shoe brand of the year, hands down. And if there's a shoe that a girl wants right now, it's probably from Amina Muaddi. That sculptured heel, the touch of bling, where can you go wrong? They are just perfectly bold and can be worn time and time again. They are the shoes of the moment.

                                                                                                     VIA @CAROLAPOJER

ByFar Mini Bag

Single handle bags are all the rage right now. From Jacquemus to ByFar, they are taking the world by storm. And I have to say, the ByFar ones are truly making their mark. Tiny bags are super cute, sometimes impractical, yet we all want one! ByFar have the best range of colours, textures and designs so why look anywhere else?!

Which of these 5 are on your list? Or are they all up there? For me, if I could have anything it would probably be the Gucci tights & a pair of Amina Muaddi shoes. I mean, of course I would want shoes. I never not want shoes. What other pieces do you think are going to be staples on a fashion girl's Christmas list? Am I missing anything big? Let me know in the comments below.
